Benefits of learning Quran Indeed, reflecting on the verses of Allah is a form of worship that brings Allah closer to the Most-High. This reflection is not imprudent and wandering, it rather includes a study of the classical Tafseer of the meditated verses, as this would answer Ibnul-Qayyim’s great advice, “like thinking about a book that a person has memorized and he exposes so that he understands what his author wants.

Indeed, the Book of Allah is not a book like the others, it is the timeless Speech of Allah, not a created thing, the study guide for life and death and what comes next. Therefore, it deserves more careful study than someone else’s speech. His reader must return to the first narrations of those who witnessed his revelation and heard his explanation by the one who was delegated by Allah to repeat and explain His Words to humanity (Sallallahu ‘Alayhi Wa Sallam). For if one tried to meditate on the meanings of the verses without having made this study, then surely the filth of the time in which he lives and his ignorance of the correct application and understanding that the early Muslims had, would make him understand some that are not wanted by Allah the Almighty, and he would go astray, thinking of worshiping Allah. So, every sincere Muslim who hopes to win the Love of Allah by reciting and reflecting on the Book of Allah, while firmly holding to the meanings explained by the Prophet (Sallallahu ‘Alayhi Wa Sallam), and those taught by the companions and their immediate disciples. first scholars of Islam. after that, you will read the benefits of learning Quran.
So dear brother and Muslim sister! Know that reciting and meditating on the Book of Allah, and regularly dedicating your time to studying and implementing it has tremendous benefits in this life and the next, so let’s look at some of them now to attach more firmly to the majestic words of Allah. Each advantage is sufficiently encouraging to avoid laziness and to devote ourselves to the Quran.
Benefits Of Learning Quran:
1 – Reading and reflecting on the Qur’an fulfills an Islamic duty.
Indeed the Prophet (Sallallahu ‘Alayhi Wa Sallam) summed up this religion with his statement: “Religion is Naseehah (sincerity)!” Then Tameem ibn Aws, may Allah be pleased with him, then said, “We asked, ‘To whom He said:” To Allah, His Book, His Messenger, the leaders of the people and their ordinary people. “[ Muslim] The sincerity due to the Book of Allah includes his regular recitation, learning the rules of tajweed and reciting beautifully, learning about his Tafseer and the reasons for his revelation, claiming that it is the Truth, the perfect Word of Allah and not part of the creation, honoring and defending it, respecting the orders and prohibitions found in it, the teacher, and the appellant. [See Jaami’ul-‘Uloom Wal-Hikam of Ibn Rajab Al- Hambalee] So, reading and reflecting on the Qur’an, one fulfills an obligation and is rewarded for it by fulfilling this obligation, the Qur’an becomes a proof for him on the Day of Judgment! we will take in embracing this Noble Book …
2 – The Quran will be proof for us on the Day of Judgment.
Benefits of learning Quran, This is due to the Messenger’s statement: “And the Quran is a proof for you or against you.” [Muslim] So, one of two things will happen with this proof, the Book of Allah. It will be in your favor, a proof for you the day you will need every good deed, or it will be something against you, the very Speech of your Creator, a proof against you! Who could be saved from the terrors of this day if Allah’s own word is against him?!?! Think carefully, dear brother or Muslim sister, to your position vis-à-vis the Koran! Do you neglect it, contradict it, do not worry about its orders and its prohibitions, do you think deeply about it? Will he be on your side on Judgment Day ?! O, Allah! We ask you, by Your Glorious Speech and the rest of your beautiful Names and Attributes, to make the Koran a proof for us! O, Allah! Do not make the Qur’an a proof against us that day, and save us from hell! For if Allah makes the Qur’an a proof for us that day, then he will also be an intercessor for us when NO intercession takes place without his permission.
3 – The Qur’an will intercede for us on the Day of Judgment.
The proof: Aboo Umaamah says that the Prophet (Sallallahu ‘Alayhi Wa Sallam) said: “Read the Qur’an, for in truth he will come to the day of the position as an intercessor for his companions.” [Muslim]
4 – One of Your statuses in this life will be high.
In Sahih Muslim, we find a beautiful story about how a man of the people of Jannah, Umar ibn Al-Khattaab, understood this principle. Men came to interrogate him during his Khilaafah about the Makkah leadership, they asked, “Who do you use to govern Makkah?” He said, “Ibn Abzaa.” They asked, “And who is Ibn Abzaa?” “A slave freed from those we have liberated.” They remarked, “You have left a freed slave responsible for the people of the Valley (the noble tribes of the Quraysh)!?!?” Then he answered them, “Verily, he is a reader of the Book of Allah and knows the obligations of Muslims.Have you not heard the statement of your Messenger:” Surely, Allah raises certain people by this Book and lower others. ”
5 – One of the benefits of learning Quran is, You will be the best of people.
Uthmaan, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the Prophet (Sallallahu ‘Alayhi Wa Sallam) said, “The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it to others” [Al-Bukhari ]
6 – There are ten awards for every letter you recite from the Qur’an.
As an authentic hadith proves in At-Tirmithee: “He who reads a letter from the Book of Allah, he will have a reward, and this reward will be multiplied by ten.I do not say that” Alif, Laam, Meem “is a letter, I say rather than “Alif” is a letter, “laam” is a letter and “meem” is a letter. “So increase your recitation of the Qur To earn these merits, and earn the following merit as well.
7 – The reciters of the Qur’an will be in the company of noble and obedient angels.
‘Aa’ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, reports that the Prophet (Sallallahu ‘Alayhi Wa Sallam) said: “In truth, he who recites the Qur’an beautifully, gently and precisely, he will be in the company of the angels Noble and obedient, and as for one who recites with difficulty, stammering or stumbling in his verses, then he will have twice that reward. “[Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
If you are a dear Muslim brother or sister, do not let the Shaytaan give you false excuses, such as “I am not an Arab” or “This is not my language”. This hadeeth is solid proof against these whispers. Devote yourself to the Book of Allah, whether you are an Arab or not! The excuses have been eliminated and the way has been cleared for you to embrace the Book of Allah without holding back or offering you an apology! And you will certainly not hesitate to look for a teacher or a study circle for the Qur’an once you have heard the last and perhaps the greatest benefits of reading and meditating on the Quran …
8 – Your position in Paradise is determined by the amount of Qur’an you memorize in this life!
‘Abdullah ibn’ Amr ibn Al-‘Aas heard the Prophet (Sallallahu ‘Alayhi Wa Sallam) say: “The Qur’an’s companion will be told to read and raise (through the levels of Paradise) and beautify your voice as you did when you were in the Dunyaa! In truth, your position in Paradise will be in the last verse you recite! “[Aboo Daawood and At-Tirmithee, sahih]
9 – Also One of the benefits of learning Quran is that it will lead you to Paradise!
The Prophet said: “The Qur’an is an intercessor, something has given permission to intercede, and one believes it legitimately, and whoever put it before him, he will lead him to Paradise, whoever put him behind him, he will direct him to hell. “[A genuine hadith found at At-Tabaraanee, on the authority of ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ood]
To Know the benefits of learning Quran, my dear brother or sister, that these nine advantages of the many benefits available can only be achieved by a sincere commitment to the Book of Allah, and not by the simple declaration of a person: “I love the Koran, it’s beautiful”. the heart must be sincerely attached to the Book of Allah and the members and the tongue will follow in this attachment. You should know that we have mentioned only a few of the many benefits of reading and reflecting on the Qur’an. There are many benefits that await your reading in the Qur’an and the Hadith books, such as the chapter of the Qur’an that will argue in your name in the tomb, and that it is a physical healing, a source of rest and relaxation for your heart, among many other things.
