Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Rajioon

Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Rajioon

Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Rajioon

What a wonderful sentence, and what a beautiful word, that combines ease and strength. The ease of pronunciation and the strength of the meaning, and between Slavery and pride, the Slavery of the creature to the Creator; And the glory of the creator.
It used to be that this word, if heard, denotes misfortune. This is what was mentioned in the Qur’an. God Almighty said

{الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌ قَالُواْ إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ }

Allatheena itha asabathum museebatun qaloo inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon

Who say, when afflicted with calamity: “To Allah We belong, and to Him is our return”

Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Rajioon Meaning

Most of the time, we read the verses without understanding them, and that is why these are the meanings of the words of the verse,”To Allah We belong, and to Him is our return”

Here is the Words meaning,

  • Inna: meaning Indeed, verily ‘we’.
  • Lillahi: belong to Allah.
  • Wa Inna: Wa means ‘and’; Inna means ‘verily, we’
  • Ilayhi: means ‘towards Him’.
  • Rajioon: means ‘Return

Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Rajioon Concept

Therefore, the tongue utters it in sad tones, perhaps with a lowered head, a frowning face, and a grieving heart.

“inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon” calls for optimism and means entertainment for the injured and aims to raise morale and stabilize the psychological state. It is a fortress for the Muslim from falling into dissatisfaction with the decree and a refuge from objection to God’s decree.
It addresses the afflicted not to grieve, for you belong to God, Glory be to Him. And do not be pessimistic, for you are coming to God, Glory be to Him, and whoever you have lost is the property of God and is coming to Him.

“inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon” It is an acknowledgment and acknowledgment by the afflicted that he and what was injured and what he lost of money or family or the like and everything around him is all for The sake of Allah.

And as long as this is the case, and as long as we, what we possess, what we love, and what we gather belong to Allah, so Allah may do with us what He wills and take from us what He wills, and so that the soul is satisfied and the soul is reassured, “We shall return to Him.”
So: We belong to God and we shall return to Him, so

  • why do sorrows kill us and destroy us!?
  • Why does sadness kill us for a lover who passed away and went to Allah?!!
  • Why does sadness destroy us when we and what we have: God’s property?!!
    If we are certain that those of What we have lost have preceded us to God, and that if we are late, we will catch up with Him: let us be happy and prepare.

“inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon” as Ibrahim alihisalam Said:

“inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon”

What a great consolation, and because condolence means strengthening, this great sentence was strengthening the afflicted, not comparable to any strengthening if it is belief, certainty, surrender and from a sound heart.
With it, the magicians who believed in the Lord of Moses and Aaron strengthened themselves against Pharaoh when he threatened them to cut off their hands and feet and crucify them, they consoled:

{قَالُواْ إِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا مُنقَلِبُونَ }

They said: “For us, We are but sent back unto our Lord:
Al-A’raf 125

That means We will not be harmed by the punishment of this world that inflicts on us, we shall return to our Lord, and He will give us eternal bliss (Al-Tafsir al-Muaser)

There is no doubt that sadness is natural and innate in humans. The eye sheds tears, and the heart grieves over the lost, but the afflicted must be comforted and strengthened, so this was the divine gift, “We belong to God and to Him we shall return.””inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon”

وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ

And We have indeed made the Qur´an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition?
Among the most important characteristics of the Holy Quran are the fluidity of style and ease of memorizing its words. Sheikh Abd al-Rahman al-Saadi explained the noble verse that God Almighty facilitated and facilitated the words of the Holy Quran for performance and memorization, and its vocabulary for understanding and knowledge, especially since the Holy Quran is the truest meaning, the best word for it, and its explanation.
