4 Steps to memorize The Holy Quran Easily
1- The First Step:-
This method is to determine the quantity; That is, one surah is divided into more than one section, according to the ability of the memorizer to memorize it. For example, memorizing Surat Al-Kahf in four stages, or five – according to his ability, and the division of the memorizer of the Surah to be memorized must be according to the verses that are related in meaning; There is no objection to reading the facilitating interpretation of the verses before beginning to memorize them. To increase mastery, the memorizer is also keen to repeat one section five or more times; until it is firmly established in his mind without slipping away, and when he finishes memorizing the first syllable, he begins to memorize the second stanza of the last verse in the first syllable; This helps him to link them, with the need to repeat what he has memorized with concentration, and to link all the passages together.
Despite the difficulty of linking the surah at once; Because of the different times and circumstances in which they were kept, it is possible to solve this problem and avoid it; The frequent recitation of the surah by the memorizer at one time, and with time, he will be able to recite the surah at once, and this method is one of the common methods among memorizers and reciters; Because the Messenger – may God’s prayers and peace be upon him – used to take the Qur’an five times from Gabriel, and the Companions – may God be pleased with them – did not memorize the new except after they mastered the old memorization and did what was stated in it, and it is noteworthy that this method helps to consolidate the memorization, and it is one of the easy ways In memorizing the Qur’an for children, and for those who lack experience, it also helps the memorizer to differentiate between verses that are similar in structures and words, bearing in mind that a time plan must be set for memorization; So that it is easy for the memorizer to divide the surah, and memorize it according to a timetable commensurate with his capacity and conditions.
2- The Second Step:-
It is not possible to memorize the Holy Quran without the help of God – Glory be to Him – and therefore sincerity to God – the Highest – in memorizing the Qur’an and seeking help from it is one of the most beneficial and best ways. The presence of a sheikh who has mastered tajweed; recitation and recitation; For the hafiz to take his instructions, and recite to him the verses he memorized, so the Sheikh corrects his recitation for him, and then the effort is on the hafiz; By repeating the verses he memorized throughout his day; So that he can memorize it, while constantly reviewing, consolidating, and confirming everything he has memorized in the following days; reading a lot; So that he recites a word from it every day, and the best and best times for memorizing and reviewing are the time of Fajr; Whether it is before dawn, or after it, the memorizer must be patient in his memorization. Patience is what helps you persevere and continue to memorize.
3- The Third Step:-
This method is called (the method of the five fortresses); It is an easy and accessible way to memorize the Holy Quran in a short time, and it is summarized in five fortresses, its statement as follows:
The first fortress: to keep reading the Noble Qur’an constantly; Two parts per day, for a maximum of forty minutes, with frequent listening to the Holy Qur’an; Committing to a daily response, he approximates the party.
The second fortress: continuous preparation, which is considered one of the strongest fortresses that help memorize the Holy Quran. It is divided into weekly preparation; By reading the pages to be memorized in the following week, and supporting this by reading the interpretation, which helps to support memorization and night preparation; So that the memorizer repeats listening to what he wants to memorize the next day for fifteen minutes, then he recites it with rapid recitation with the recitation of the recitation fifteen times, and the time for this preparation must be right before bedtime; Because this helps to remember it the next day, in addition to the preparatory preparation; It is the repetition of memorization before starting new memorization. Fifteen times, with intense concentration, for fifteen minutes for each page of memorization, while refraining from looking at the Qur’an for the last five minutes.
The third fortress: beginning the new memorization for a period of no less than fifteen minutes, and repeating it; Repetition helps to enable and stabilize memorization.
The fourth fortress: the review of the near; This is done by reviewing the twenty pages adjacent to the new memorization page daily; So that it is gradual.
Fifth fortress: a review of the remote; This is done by reviewing the memorization that is after the twenty pages adjacent to the new memorization page; i.e. review the last forty pages, and so on; This is done gradually once a week.
4- The Fourth Step:-
It is the method of memorization by repetition; This is done by repeating the first verse that is intended to be memorized twenty times, then repeating the following verses; each verse separately; Twenty times for each verse, until the verses reach four, then the four verses are linked, and their recitation is repeated twenty times, then four other verses are memorized, and each verse is repeated twenty times in the same way, then the four new verses are linked twenty times, and after That is, what has been linked in the two memorizations is repeated twenty times, and upon completion of memorizing one aspect of the Qur’an and before commencing the new memorization, this memorization is repeated twenty times; Until it becomes entrenched, established, and then begins the new memorization.
Benefits of memorization the Noble Quran in the Hereafter
1 – The Quran memorizer will wear his father the crown of dignity on the Day of Resurrection because he taught him.
“ يَجِيءُ الْقُرْآنُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَيَقُولُ يَا رَبِّ حَلِّهِ فَيُلْبَسُ تَاجَ الْكَرَامَةِ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ يَا رَبِّ زِدْهُ فَيُلْبَسُ حُلَّةَ الْكَرَامَةِ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ يَا رَبِّ ارْضَ عَنْهُ فَيَرْضَى عَنْهُ فَيُقَالُ لَهُ اقْرَأْ وَارْقَ وَتُزَادُ بِكُلِّ آيَةٍ حَسَنَ.
The one who memorized the Qur’an shall come on the Day of Judgement and (the reward for reciting the Qur’an) says: ‘O Lord! Decorate him.” So he is donned with a crown of nobility. Then it says: “O Lord! Give him more!’ So he is donned with a suit of nobility. Then it says: “O Lord! Be pleased with him.’ So He is pleased with him and says: “Recite and rise up, and be increased in reward with every Ayah ”.
