What is better to do on days than these? They said: Is it not jihad? He said: Not even jihad, except for a man who went out, risking himself and his money, and did not return with anything.

  • The Malikis and Shafi’is: They held that the Sunnah requires that no body hair be taken, whether from the head or otherwise, or the clipping of nails, for anyone who wants to sacrifice or knows that someone else has sacrificed for him, from the beginning of the month of Dhu al Hijjah until the completion of the sacrifice.

Then it says: “O Lord! Give him more!’ So he is donned with a suit of nobility. Then it says: “O Lord! Be pleased with him.’ So He is pleased with him and says: “Recite and rise up, and be increased in reward with every Ayah ‏”‏.
